Regarding the legal requirements for working in Kuwait, it is essential to understand that while many employers offer sponsorship programs, we are not an authorized visa agency and do not issue visas directly. Our role is to provide details and guide you through the process. In Kuwait, the employment visa process is governed by the "Kafala" system. If selected, the company typically initiates the process by applying for a work permit from the Public Authority for Manpower. Once this initial approval is granted, an entry permit is issued.
Candidates are then required to undergo a medical examination in their home country at an approved center, obtain a police clearance certificate, and have their educational documents attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kuwaiti Embassy. After arriving in Kuwait, the final step involves a local medical test and fingerprinting to secure the residency permit, known as the "Iqama," and a Civil ID card. We will provide you with the necessary information and digital guidance on where to track your application and how to follow official government steps.
To apply, please submit your updated resume and a clear copy of your passport. Candidates who meet the initial criteria will be invited for a virtual interview. Following a successful interview, you will receive an offer letter which allows you to start the visa guidance phase.
