Once the work permit is approved, you must then apply for a long-stay visa equivalent to a residence permit, often referred to as a "temporary worker" visa (travailleur temporaire), at the French Consulate or Embassy in your country of residence. This visa application requires you to submit the approved work permit, your signed employment contract, proof of qualifications, and other personal documents. In some cases, for very short stays, a different type of visa may apply, but long-term employment requires the appropriate long-stay work visa.

Process to Apply:
