This role requires more than just driving; it demands a responsible professional who views the truck as their mobile office and understands the critical nature of the supply chain. You will be entrusted with modern commercial vehicles, transporting a variety of cargo to destinations within Bavaria, across Germany, and potentially into neighboring European countries. You must strictly adhere to the German Road Traffic Act (StVO) and all EU directives regarding professional driving hours and rest periods. Your ability to correctly operate a digital tachograph and manage your time efficiently is vital to ensure both your safety and legal compliance.
A valid Category CE driving licence and the mandatory Code 95/CPC professional qualification card are essential prerequisites for this position. Candidates should have a strong track record of safety, a disciplined approach to vehicle maintenance (performing daily checks, reporting defects), and a problem-solving mindset for unexpected on-road situations. While a minimum experience level is sought, we encourage motivated newcomers with the correct licensing and professional attitude to apply, as on-the-job training in our specific procedures and route management will be provided. Basic communication skills in German are highly beneficial for reading road signs, coordinating with dispatchers, and interacting at loading/unloading docks.
