About the Role

As a Food Packaging Line Worker, you will be a crucial part of our production chain, ensuring that our food products are packaged efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards before reaching our customers. Your primary focus will be on operating and tending to the packaging equipment and performing manual tasks on the production line.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operating basic packaging machinery: Tending to automated or semi-automated machines that fill, wrap, or seal products.
2. Inspecting products for quality defects: Visually checking products and packaging materials for any damage, mislabeling, or contamination.
3. Accurately labeling and sealing packages: Ensuring all packages are correctly sealed and labeled according to product specifications.
4. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area: Regularly cleaning equipment, workstations, and surrounding areas to comply with strict food hygiene standards.
5. Loading and unloading materials: Moving raw or packaged materials to and from the production line.
6. Adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols: Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and wearing required protective equipment at all times.
7. Counting and reporting finished products: Keeping accurate records of the number of items packaged per shift and noting any wastage.
8. Assisting with inventory checks: Supporting the warehouse team with counting and organizing packaging materials and finished goods.
9. Following production schedules: Working at the required pace to meet daily production targets effectively.
10. Notifying supervisors of any equipment faults: Immediately reporting any mechanical issues or product quality concerns to the Line Supervisor.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Qualifications: Minimum of 8th Pass or Equivalent Basic Education.
• Experience: No Experience Required (Training Provided); however, prior work experience in a factory, warehouse, or similar production environment is a definite advantage.
• Skills: Demonstrated attention to detail, proficiency in basic literacy and numeracy (reading labels, counting), proven physical stamina for standing for long periods, high degree of reliability and punctuality, ability to exhibit teamwork and cooperation, strong commitment to adherence to safety rules, a willingness to learn new tasks, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow verbal instructions.
