Description

Our company is looking to onboard enthusiastic and competent Welders to contribute to essential fabrication and construction projects across Canada. This position is suitable for both new entrants to the trade and those with a few years of experience, offering a pathway for professional growth within a supportive and safety-conscious environment. As a Welder, you will be a crucial part of our production and construction teams, responsible for the precision and quality of welded components in structures, machinery, and various metal products.

Apply for Jobs

The primary duties revolve around the core tasks of welding: accurately reading and understanding detailed engineering drawings, setting up welding equipment (such as gas metal arc welding (GMAW) or shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) units), and executing high-quality welds in different positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead). You will be expected to prepare materials by cleaning, grinding, or cutting as necessary, and utilize various tools and techniques, including brazing and soldering equipment, as required. A fundamental part of this role is maintaining rigorous quality control, which involves inspecting your own work for conformance to specifications and performing necessary repairs or reworks to meet established industry standards. Safety is paramount; therefore, strict compliance with all company and governmental safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices, is non-negotiable.

Candidates applying for this position should demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to precision, and an aptitude for technical tasks. While a formal apprenticeship completion is highly valued, candidates with equivalent on-the-job training and relevant certifications from accredited institutions are also encouraged to apply. The daily work environment can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and work in various weather conditions if the project is outdoors. Effective communication is essential for collaborating with team members, supervisors, and other tradespeople on site. We are dedicated to the professional development of our team and provide opportunities for continuous training in new welding technologies and specialized techniques.
