Description:

Maple Leaf Grocers Inc. is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Supermarket Staff in various locations across Canada. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to start or advance their career in the Canadian retail industry. We are looking for lower-level or somewhat experienced candidates who are ready to commit to providing excellent service and maintaining a high standard of store operations.

Responsibilities:

• Stocking and Merchandising: Ensure shelves are fully stocked, products are properly rotated (following FIFO - First-In, First-Out), and displays are neat and appealing.

• Customer Service: Greet customers, answer inquiries, direct them to products, and assist with general shopping needs in a friendly and professional manner.

• Cashier Duties (as needed): Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately (cash, credit, debit), and handle returns and exchanges.

• Store Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of aisles, display areas, and backrooms, including sweeping, dusting, and clearing spills.

• Receiving and Inventory: Assist with unloading deliveries, checking items against invoices, and organizing products in storage areas.
