The Core Role

As a Production Machine Operator, you will be the key individual responsible for the operation and initial maintenance of various industrial machines on our production line. Your role is vital to ensuring that products are manufactured according to precise specifications, consistently and safely. We require a person who is attentive to detail and capable of following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meticulously. The working environment in Qatar’s industrial zones is fast-paced, demanding reliability and a proactive approach to potential machine issues.

Key Responsibilities in Detail

Your day-to-day work will be structured around a sequence of high-impact tasks:

1. Machine Setup and Operation: Setting up machinery at the start of a production run, including loading raw materials, adjusting machine parameters (such as speed and temperature), and ensuring correct calibration before monitoring the production run continuously.
2. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Constantly observing machine performance and output to detect any malfunctions, quality issues, or deviations from the standard process. You will be expected to troubleshoot basic technical faults and perform minor adjustments to keep downtime to an absolute minimum.
3. Quality Control: Inspecting finished and in-process products using precision measuring instruments, ensuring all items adhere to the company’s strict quality standards. Immediately reporting any significant quality defects to the supervisor is a crucial duty.
4. Maintenance and Safety: Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and basic parts replacement to maintain machine longevity. You must adhere to all safety procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, keeping the work area clean and hazard-free.
5. Documentation: Maintaining accurate production logs, including data on output quantity, machine performance, downtime reasons, and maintenance activities. This includes shift hand-over reports to ensure a seamless transition between teams.

Candidate Requirements

Successful candidates will generally possess a 10th Pass / High School Diploma, with preference given to those who have completed technical training (ITI or Vocational Certification) in a relevant mechanical or electrical field. Candidates should have at least 1-3 years of proven experience in operating production or manufacturing equipment. Key skills we are looking for include:

• Strong Mechanical Aptitude and ability to understand technical machine manuals.
• Precision and Quality Focus for accurate product inspection.
• Reliability and Time Management to adhere to strict production schedules.
• Willingness to complete comprehensive training provided by the company.
