Agrihaul Logistics Solutions, a leading company in the agriculture and logistics sector in Australia, is actively seeking motivated and dedicated candidates for the role of Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Agriculture/Logistics). The successful candidate will be a crucial part of our technical team, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our diverse fleet of heavy vehicles, including large trucks, agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters), and other essential logistics equipment. This role demands a strong focus on safety, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. You will gain invaluable experience working with a range of modern diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and complex mechanical and electrical components vital to the smooth operation of both farming and transportation processes across Australia.

Your core responsibilities will involve:

• Performing detailed routine maintenance and preventative servicing on heavy commercial vehicles and agricultural equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system faults using both manual techniques and advanced diagnostic tools.
• Executing necessary repairs, which may include dismantling, overhauling, and reassembling engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems.
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and labour hours.
• Strictly adhering to all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong mechanical aptitude, are detail-oriented, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A formal qualification, such as a High School Certificate or equivalent, is a minimum requirement, with a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a completed apprenticeship being highly advantageous.
