As a Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic, you will be an essential part of our technical team, primarily focusing on the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks, buses, and other heavy equipment. Your main duties will involve using advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint complex mechanical and electrical faults (Fehlerdiagnose) in various systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and modern vehicle electronics. Following the diagnosis, you will be responsible for executing necessary repairs and replacements in accordance with manufacturer specifications and German industry standards. Routine tasks will include performing preventative maintenance services, conducting thorough vehicle inspections (Hauptuntersuchung preparation), and ensuring all vehicle safety components are functioning optimally.

Success in this role requires a strong foundational knowledge of vehicle mechanics, excellent technical diagnostic proficiency, and a rigorous commitment to workplace safety. You must possess the hands-on mechanical aptitude necessary to handle heavy-duty tools and equipment and to manage the physical demands of the job. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail in all repair work and documentation, utilizing basic computer literacy for diagnostics and maintaining accurate service records. Crucially, the ability to work effectively independently or in a team is vital for workshop efficiency.
