This work permit is applied for through the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour by the employer.

To successfully obtain your work visa and residency, you must first secure a formal job offer. Once the job offer is accepted, your employer will initiate the process of obtaining the work permit on your behalf. Candidates must generally provide a valid passport, a medical fitness certificate from an authorized medical center, and a police clearance certificate from their home country. After the work permit is approved, you will apply for an entry visa at the Kuwaiti Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence, or, in some cases, receive a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to enter Kuwait. Upon arrival, the residency process is completed.
