CNC Machine Operator
Precision Tech Manufacturing is seeking motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operators to join our growing team in the United States of America. We are specifically looking for lower-level or somewhat experienced candidates ready to contribute immediately and grow with the company.
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be crucial to our production process, utilizing Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery to produce precision parts from various materials. Your primary focus will be on the safe and efficient operation of the machines, ensuring that all finished products meet strict quality specifications.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from setting up the machines according to specifications to performing routine quality checks on the output. Success in this position relies on your ability to follow technical instructions precisely and troubleshoot minor issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing and Operating CNC Machines: Setting up, adjusting, and operating CNC equipment (lathes, mills, etc.) to perform tasks like drilling, grinding, and cutting.
- Interpreting Technical Documents: Reading and understanding blueprints, mechanical drawings, and production sheets to determine appropriate machine settings and specifications.
- Material Management: Safely loading raw materials into the machines and unloading finished or partially finished parts.
- Monitoring and Adjustment: Closely supervising machine cycles, making necessary adjustments (e.g., tool offsets) to ensure the part conforms to precise dimensions and tolerances.
- Quality Control: Inspecting and measuring finished products using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and documenting quality logs.
- Maintenance and Safety: Performing daily checks and basic preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure functionality and minimize downtime, while strictly adhering to all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Documentation: Accurately recording production data, including quality logs, run times, and any issues encountered during the shift.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. While we welcome applicants with no prior experience who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, 1-2 years of experience operating manufacturing machinery is highly beneficial. A certification or diploma from a technical or vocational school in machining or a related field will be considered a significant advantage.
