Core Duties and Workplace Culture

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be a vital part of our production line. Your primary duty will be the safe and efficient operation of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, primarily mills and lathes. You will be responsible for interpreting technical documents, setting up the machine with the correct tools, loading raw materials, and running the programmed process. You will be expected to continuously monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.

A key part of the job involves quality control. You will use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify that the first-run part and subsequent components meet all engineering specifications. You will also be responsible for minor machine adjustments, performing routine preventive maintenance checks (like fluid levels and tool sharpness), and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Strong attention to detail is critical to ensure high-quality output and minimize material waste.

Essential skills include the ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings, a foundational understanding of G and M-code programming, and excellent troubleshooting skills to address common operational issues.
