Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of new medical devices and equipment.
- Conduct research and gather user feedback to inform product design decisions.
- Develop and execute test plans, including prototype testing, performance testing, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Participate in the creation of technical documentation and product specifications.
- Ensure that product development processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Continuously evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with cross-disciplinary teams to address design challenges and optimize products for manufacturing and usability.
- Stay updated on trends and innovations in medical devices and healthcare technologies.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of product design principles, prototyping, and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with medical device regulations (FDA, ISO, IEC 60601, etc.) and quality management systems.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in CAD software, 3D modeling tools, and other product development tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry, particularly in respiratory and sleep therapy, is a plus.
