Job Description: Airbus is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from the Netherlands, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals to develop cutting-edge software solutions for our aerospace and defense projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with aerospace or defense industry projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and safety-critical software development standards (e.g., DO-178C) would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of software architecture patterns and design principles.
