Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily cash flow.
• Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Russian accounting standards and regulations.

• Tax Compliance:

  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and apply them accordingly.
  • Liaise with tax authorities as necessary and handle any audits or inquiries.
• Audit and Risk Management:
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and transparency of financial statements.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend actions to mitigate them.
• Process Improvement:
  • Assist in streamlining accounting processes and improving financial reporting efficiency.
  • Ensure financial data is stored securely and comply with data protection standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably with international exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of Russian accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as 1C, QuickBooks, or SAP).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English is required (knowledge of Russian is an advantage but not mandatory).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
